I was tasked with creating an animated music video intended to serve as a karaoke video that also incorporates the theme of environmentalism. The music video is set to “Your Woman” by the band White Town.

Problem: Create a 60 to 90 second animated music video intended to serve as a karaoke video. In addition to the constraints of the time limit, the theme of “Recycle, Regenerate, Renew” must be incorporated.

Solution: In adherence to the constraints, I created an engaging animated video ready for karaoke. I utilized textures and photographs of scrap printer and recycled origami paper as backgrounds and bases for the characters in the video. The final product was an animation that incorporated the used of Duik Angela, a popular plug-in for After Effects that specializes in rigging for animation and featured the song "Your Woman” by White Town.

This video was also featured as part of a collective showcase during Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts 2024 Undergraduate Open Annual Exhibition, Tethered Fragments.
