Social Media Infographic Campaign for Population Reference Bureau

Concept / Creative Study - 2023

I created infographics for social media about an article written by the Population Reference Bureau (PRB) on black mothers disproportionately affected by material mortality. Initially created as static graphics, I later translated them into a motion graphic that reflects the user experience of interacting with these graphics on Instagram.

Problem: Create a series of 6 infographics that translate an important, complex topic from an article written by a reputable organization, producing inviting and clear deliverables that convey the seriousness and need for advocacy on this topic.

Solution: I created 6 infographics that broke down the PRB’s article on black mothers experiencing maternal mortality into digestible, shareable content ready for social media. The graphics include key statistics and call to actions that spotlight and give visibility to this urgent issue black women face in the healthcare system.

Project Scope: Social Media Infographics (Instagram), Copywriting, Art Direction, Motion
